Youth Ministry at Maplewood

The mission of the youth and children's ministries at Maplewood Mennonite is to teach Biblical principles that children and youth can apply to their own lives as they grow.  The youth ministry has been active since the founding of Maplewood Mennonite.  Youth and children have been involved in church services, service work, camps, denominational activities, and community events.

This ministry exists to build a foundation where youth and children may know Christ and His love and share it with others.  We provide a safe and fun environment where children and youth can grow spiritually through service, Bible study, and group activities.  Children's services (infant through 5th grade) begin halfway through the church service with an integrated "Children's Chat", and then children leave the service to complete fun and spiritually connected activities with our trained volunteers.  Youth (6th - 12th grades) attend the entirety of the church service, and then have classes and activities during the Sunday school hour (10:45 - 11:45am).
